Sheriff Jerry Clayton & Congresswoman Debbie Dingell Invite the Community to a Unity Town Hall Event
On Thursday, July 21, 2016 the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and Congresswoman Debbie Dingell are planning to bring our community together to hold a community Unity Town Hall to talk with one another, to begin discussing how we can come together, and how we as a community can address the anger, frustration, fear, lack of communication, and issues around race, poverty and policing.
The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable summer. With summer in full swing, the lakes and rivers are a great place for recreational opportunities such as boating, fishing, kayaks and canoes.
Let me begin by sharing my thoughts and prayers with all those that have been directly and indirectly affected by the recent events in Baton Rouge, St. Paul and Dallas.
