WCSO Community Education Series: Body Cameras

WCSO Community Education Series: Body Cameras

Thursday, September 28th the Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) will be hosting one of the Sheriff’s Office Community Education Series events. The YDL was interested in bringing two of these sessions to the library and asked that the topics be body cameras and mental health partnerships. Chief Deputy Bazick will be leading the discussion and will have on hand some of the body cam devices for residents to become familiar with. The goal is to remove any myths around the cameras and allow residents to ask any questions they may have.

The Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber holds this event each year to raise funds for a selected agency. This year a portion of all proceeds were donated to the Washtenaw 100 Club; an organization that supports families of the men and women of the law enforcement and firefighting community.
