Native American Trails Marker Dedication

Native American Trails Marker Dedication

On July 12th WCPARC and the Washtenaw County Historic District Commission were pleased to dedicate the first of several historical markers honoring Native American trails and sites in the County. Parker Mill County Park located in Ann Arbor Township along Fleming Creek and the Huron River was the site of the first installed sign.

Lyme Disease in Washtenaw: Frequently Asked Questions

All Washtenaw residents diagnosed with Lyme disease are reported to Washtenaw County Public Health. To date, there is no evidence that transmission of Lyme disease has occurred in Washtenaw County. In West Michigan, however, infected tick populations are present along the lakeshore. County residents may be exposed in other parts of Michigan or in other states.
