WCSO Gun Turn-In Program

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is hosting a Gun Turn-In program this Saturday, June 27th. If you have a gun that you would like to dispose of come turn it in to the WCSO. For each working firearm you return you will be given a $50 Visa gift card.

All the law enforcement agencies in Washtenaw County have joined together to help make our County and our residents safer, by holding a Gun Safety Week June 21st through June 27th, 2015. The purpose of the Washtenaw County Gun Safety Week is to educate and raise awareness about issues related to gun safety and encourage responsible gun ownership.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, Con-Way Freight and Christina’s Smile Partnered Up to Provide Dental Services for Area Children in Need

On June 1st and 2nd, Christina’s SmileTM Children’s Dental Clinic and Con-way Inc. partnered with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and local schools, including Adams STEM Academy, Estabrook Elementary and Perry Early Learning Center, to screen and select local, underserved children with priority dental care needs. Over two days, the clinic and its local volunteer dentists provided dental services, free of charge, to as many as 80 children, representing nearly $63,000 worth of services.
