Beginning this spring and continuing through the fall of 2017, the Water Resources Office will be conducting assessments of county drains and stormwater basins throughout Washtenaw County. During this time, we may be more visible to residents or be noticed at locations that typically don’t see much activity. So in the coming months you may receive inquiries about our activity.
Washtenaw County Public Health provides free hearing and vision screenings. Screenings are required for all children entering preschool and kindergarten this coming fall.

2015 results show the program continues to help participants eat more fruits and vegetables. Washtenaw County Public Health and Saint Joseph Mercy Health System (SJMHS) are pleased to announce they are continuing to work together, and SJMHS will fund Prescription for Health in 2016.
Beginning Monday, March 28, 2016 Northbound Wiard Road at Tyler Road & Tyler Road at Wiard Road in Ypsilanti Township will be closed until July 2016.
