2017 Washtenaw County Continuum of Care Funding Application Submission

The Washtenaw County Continuum of Care (CoC) community has been working hard to complete the 2017 CoC Funding Competition process to renew approximately $5.5 million in CoC funding for Washtenaw County, as well as apply for $334,013 in new funds. Both parts of the CoC Consolidated Application, the CoC Application (narrative) and Priority Listing (all submitted projects), are available here for the general public.

WCSO Community Education Series: Body Cameras

WCSO Community Education Series: Body Cameras

Thursday, September 28th the Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) will be hosting one of the Sheriff’s Office Community Education Series events. The YDL was interested in bringing two of these sessions to the library and asked that the topics be body cameras and mental health partnerships. Chief Deputy Bazick will be leading the discussion and will have on hand some of the body cam devices for residents to become familiar with. The goal is to remove any myths around the cameras and allow residents to ask any questions they may have.
