Washtenaw County Works closely with community organizations to provide services to homeless individuals and families. In 2004, the Delonis Center was opened to shelter homeless persons.
Shelter Association of Washtenaw County The Shelter Association offers a variety of services and programs to help individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Services range from providing emergency shelter, referrals for substance abuse treatment, clothing vouchers, transportation, and food to providing health care, housing assistance, and money management.
Washtenaw Housing Alliance A coalition of ten non-profit organizations that serve the homeless or those at risk of homelessness. These non-profit organizations are independently operated and have been offering a vast array of services within Washtenaw County for over 283 years collectively.
PORT (Project Outreach) A key service PORT provides is ongoing psychiatric services, including assessments, consultation, and medication management to individuals who are homeless and those in the justice system who need mental health assistance.
