Why Landmark: Ford Lake is the "hidden jewel" of Washtenaw County.  It is a large, clean, all-sports lake.  The public's perception of the lake was formed decades ago, when it was subjected to pollution.  Let's take this opportunity to remind the public that Ford Lake is clean and beautiful and an environmental success story!
