Landmark: Broccoli Tree

Location: Pattengill Elementary School - 2100 Crestland Dr.   Ann Arbor, MI

Why Landmark: For years teachers, parents, and children at Pattengill Elementary have used the broccoli tree as a landmark. The broccoli tree is still its name even though it succumbed to the Ash Borer a couple years ago. Soon it will be a lost landmark. (Editor's Note: This beautiful and longstanding landmark ash tree was indeed taken down in late 2007 - another victim of the Emerald Ash Borer,)
