Extending the Vision: Reaching Every Victim
April 22 – 28, 2012 marks the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week with the theme of Extending the Vision: Reaching Every Victim. Each year, crime in America affects countless individuals, families, and communities. In crime’s wake, victims and survivors often struggle with the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual impact of criminal victimization. Information and assistance during this difficult time is often needed to help victim’s cope with the effects of crime, and to understand the criminal justice process. This year’s National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, promotes the awareness of victim’s rights and services available to them.
