In recognition of Cyber Security Awareness Month the Washtenaw County Cyber Citizenship Coalition (WC4) hosted a Kick-Off Breakfast earlier this month.

A new section of the County’s website highlights information about County finances, including a new checkbook report. Washtenaw County’s Open Book enables quick access to information about county expenditures, budget and financial reports and is part of a larger move across the country and around the world to provide more accessible and transparent government operations.

Washtenaw County was the only government recipient of the RealSolutions Awards given by Hyland Software for the County's leadership in implementing paperless electronic document management and their cost sharing partnership with the City of Ann Arbor.

14A Judicial District Court Grand Opening

2010 Skywarn Spotter Training
Washtenaw County Sheriff Emergency Services in conjunction with the National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac is offering Skywarn Spotter training free of charge to anyone 18 years of age or older who is interested in being trained in severe weather identification, protection, and reporting procedures. The course is 2-1/2 hours long, and identification codes are issued to all who complete the program.
