WHP Plan B Enrollment Freeze

Due to significant budget constraints, Washtenaw Health Plan is freezing enrollment in WHP Plan B, effective immediately and indefinitely. The WHP will continue to serve current health plan members, but will not accept applications for new enrollment into the program

Due to significant budget constraints, Washtenaw Health Plan is freezing enrollment in WHP Plan B, effective immediately and indefinitely. The WHP will continue to serve current health plan members, but will not accept applications for new enrollment into the program. We recognize that this comes at a particularly challenging time with the number of newly-uninsured individuals growing.

The State's Adult Benefits Waiver program (also known as WHP Plan A or ABW or AMP) will continue to accept applications at the Department of Human Services (DHS) through the end of this month (May 29, 2009 is the last Friday of the month). WHP enrollment staff will assist potential applicants with their ABW applications. We will also continue to enroll eligible clients into the Washtenaw County Prescription Plan (a discount drug card), and to direct potential clients to other available health services resources
