Well and Septic SystemsWashtenaw County Homeowners can now review information concerning their water well supply and sewage disposal system online.  The County's new online database puts this important information at your fingertips!

In areas where municipal water and sewer services are not available, homeowners must rely on well and sewage (septic) systems to meet their needs. In fact, more than 2.6 million Michigan citizens use water from private drinking water wells, and over 1.2 million Michigan homes have onsite sewage systems.

This new user-friendly online resource offers the following important information to County homeowners, prospective homeowners and those involved with real estate. This information allows you to review your house site plan to better arrange for the location of well and septic systems.
