The following is a summary of the discussion and actions taken by
the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners at their February 18th Ways
& Means and Board meetings; and their February 19th Working
Session.
FEBRUARY 18th WAYS AND MEANS
MEETIN
Bob Guenzel, Washtenaw County Administrator, gave a presentation on Revenue Projections and Reform,
highlighting major sources of general fund revenue, the indicators and
assumptions within each major category, and potential revenue enhancement

approach to revenue projections, agreeing that a worse case scenario should
be considered when planning for the 2010/2011 budget.
The Ann Arbor Chronicle, an online news source posted an excellent write
up of the discussion.
The Board also discussed and approved several grant agreements from the Office of Strategic Planning, ETCS; and a revenue contract with Pittsfield Township for temporary Information Technology support and repairs.
