The days are getting shorter and cooler, but there is still time for outdoor fun in Washtenaw County.

Washtenaw County Parks is proud to provide fall tours of both Parker Mill and Sharon Mills on Sundays throughout October.  Take a walk through a park and see the colors surround you, or celebrate the “harvest season” by taking historic mill tours.

Dexter Apple Daze
October 11, 2008 11 am – 5 pm
Apples, caramel apples, apple cider, apple pies – they’re all in Dexter. Hayrides and craft booths too.

The Dark Side of Saline's Oakwood Cemetary

Bob Lane will walk you through the cemetery and “introduce” you to some of Saline’s more interesting graves. Meet in Parking Lot #4 off Henry Street, behind Benny's Bakery. Those who do not care to walk should park on Monroe.

Halloween Party at the Exhibit Museum

Come party at the museum! The Exhibit Museum's Family Halloween Party is a chance to have fun while learning about science. Journey through the Museum, discovering special stations and displays full of hands-on activities. Costumes encouraged, but not required.
