Border-to-Border Trail Map Now Available!

B2B Trail MapsWashtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission is proud to announce the new B2B (Border To Border) Trail Map covering trail from East Ann Arbor all the way to Wayne County! The map is available free of charge at the Parks & Recreation Administration offices or the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center – both on Platt Road in Ann Arbor.

You can also print out a copy of the map from the Parks and Recreation web site through the County’s public web site.

With its County Greenways Initiative, the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission has made a serious commitment to expand hike and bike trails throughout the county. The principal effort to date has been building the Huron River Greenway Border-to-Border Trail, which is planned as a continuous 35-mile shared-use path for non-motorized use along the Huron River, connecting with Livingston County in the north and Wayne County in the east.

The completed trail will link the open spaces of the Huron River Greenway, providing opportunities for transportation, recreation, and river access.  The trail is being developed through an ongoing collaboration of communities and organizations.  Since the Huron runs through Washtenaw County’s most populous communities, many people have convenient trail access.

This new map combined with the City of Ann Arbor’s Bicycle Map show the entire existing B2B Route, along with the planned, conceptual route through the County west of Ann Arbor.
