MapWashtenaw, the online
mapping service provided by Washtenaw County GIS, is your one-stop-shop for
learning about our county from a birds-eye view.
The GIS Program has partnered with the cities, villages and townships in Washtenaw County, to ensure MapWashtenaw has up-to-date property parcel information for all 125,000-plus parcels in the county. The service now inludes the City of Ann Arbor property parcels. Parcel information is searchable by address, parcel ID or owner name and it offers assessment information, public service information and more.
MapWashtenaw maps allow you to click right through to detailed County tax, sales, and permit information on local municipal web sites. And if you find yourself browsing a local government website and need a map, no problem. Local government partners link back to MapWashtenaw from their property information pages too.
Ann Arbor's recent addtion of its 30,000 parcels completes the County picture. Website visitors can now look up information on any property parcel through the County website or from the City of Ann Arbor Public Services portal which, in turn, links back to MapWashtenaw.
County GIS Coordinator Kimberly Wraight is thrilled with this latest partnership. “We’ve been building local government partnerships over the last 9 years. Adding Ann Arbor City to our GIS family completes the puzzle. It really pays off when information that is produced by individual governments is immediately available in one place at the click of a button.”
