Going out to eat has become increasingly common over the past few decades.  To ensure safe food is served in a clean environment, the Washtenaw County Environmental Health Division reviews plans for new and remodeled restaurants, inspects restaurants once they are open to the public, investigates complaints and reports of foodborne illness, and provides information related to operating a food service establishment.
