Payments for services provided by the Treasurer's Office can be made in Cash, Check, Credit Card, Debit Card, or automatic debit of your checking or savings account (ACH). We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. Payments may be made in person, by fax, by mail, via email or over the phone. Checks should be made payable to the Washtenaw County Treasurer. Certified funds may be required to pay delinquent taxes when a property is within one month of foreclosure. If you are unable to pay your entire delinquent tax balance at one time, you may make partial payments.
Credit Card/ACH By Fax
An ACH payment is an electronic debit of your checking or savings account. Payments can be set up to be a one-time payment, weekly on Fridays, or monthly payments on the 10th or 20th of each month. Credit Card payments can also be made via Fax. All customers using these methods will receive a payment receipt via first class mail.
