Catherine McClary receives MSU Extension Key Partner Award
Catherine McClary was recognized October 14, 2008 with the Key Partner Award from Michigan State University (MSU) Extension during Fall Extension Conference, held this year in Detroit. Key Partner Awards are given annually to individuals or groups who support MSU Extension programs for Michigans families, communities, agricultural industry and natural resources. Catherine was one of 18 recipients honored in 2008.
We thrive on partnerships, said Tom Coon, MSU Extension director. If it werent for our partners in communities, government and associations, we would not be able to serve Michigans residents as well as we do. They help us realize our mission. Catherine received the award during the MSU Extension Key Partner Banquet. She was the guest of Nancy Thelen, Washtenaw County MSU Extension Director. Catherine was recognized for her collaborative efforts in developing and implementing the Washtenaw County Foreclosure Prevention program and for her partnering with MSU Extension on financial literacy and foreclosure prevention education.
MSU Extension helps people improve their lives through an educational process that applies knowledge to critical needs, issues and opportunities. The organization serves all 83 Michigan counties.
