The Sheriff’s Office Parks Service Program (PSP) was created in 2011 in collaboration with Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation. Our shared goal is to ensure that every visitor to the County’s 32 parks, preserves and properties has an enjoyable, safe and positive experience through the fair and appropriate enforcement of all park rules and regulations by our Park Services Officers (PSO).
Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning Honors Deputy Brian Webb as an “All-Star in Impaired Driving Enforcement”
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP) is coordinating the annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over drunk driving enforcement campaign, July 1-13. To help increase awareness of the increased enforcement effort and the importance of not driving drunk, OHSP is planning kickoff press conferences on July 1.
Deputy Jerimiah Richardson attempted to take a probation absconder into custody on Saturday evening, May 31st, 2014, at about 6:00 p.m. The violator fled on foot into an area adjacent to Ford Lake in Ypsilanti Township.
