In observance of Memorial Day, May 27th, 2013, the Records, Civil, and Inmate Visitation Operations will be closed. The Service Desk will have reduced hours of 11AM-1PM. Sheriff’s Office Closes Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm & Unlawful Imprisonment Case with Convictions of Both Suspects

On the afternoon of August 10th, 2012, Julien Butler was lured to a convenience store in the City of Ypsilanti and forced into a vehicle at gunpoint by Allan Tomlinson and Clinton Desir. Traveling to a rural area in Superior Township with the alleged intent to kill Butler, the suspects shot Butler approximately eight (8) times. They fled the scene when interrupted by a passing vehicle. Butler survived his life threatening wounds.

On April 27th, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its sixth opportunity in three years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your medications (no liquids please) for disposal to the Sheriff’s Office at 2201 Hogback Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
