6th Annual Ford Lake Frozen Leap was a Frozen Success!

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office Frozen Leap team, Squeal Team Six, may have only had four members this year, but they were still at the top of their game.

CO Josh JohnsonThe Frozen Leap took place on Saturday, February 15, 2014 in the icy waters of Ford Lake where employees of the Sheriff’s Office and many other community members took the plunge for a good cause.

WCSO Squeal Team Six was the top fundraising team for the second year in a row.  This year, Corrections Deputy Josh Johnson, was the top fundraiser bringing in a whopping $1200!

The WCSO Dive Team were present and in the water for the entire event to make sure all the jumpers were safe, while the Washtenaw County HazMat Team provided warming tents for the jumpers.
