Sentencing of Daniel Jackson


Sheriff’s Office May 2012 investigation into school bus sexual assaults that occurred in the West Willow Neighborhood came to a close September 17th, 2012, with the guilty plea and sentencing of Daniel Jackson to nine (9) counts of criminal sexual conduct before the Honorable Melinda Morris in the Washtenaw County Trial Court.

 Jackson was sentenced to 58 months to 15 years in prison in accordance with sentencing guidelines for the offenses pled to.  Detective Everette Robbins, the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the investigation, provided thanks to all of the Sheriff’s Office staff who responded to initial calls for service and worked diligently on the overall investigation.
