Local Auto Dealership Wishes to Thank the WCSO for Great Service, Presents Check for $2,000 to the WISD Education Project, Charity Chosen by Sheriff Jerry L. Clayton
Mike Mosser, General Manager of Suburban Chevrolet, Cadillac, Saab, presented a check for $2,000 on behalf of the dealership to Jennifer Martin, representing the Education Project for Homeless Youth, this morning on the Lucy Ann Lance show. The generous donation was designed to “show appreciation for the great work of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office” by benefitting a worthy cause, chosen by Sheriff Jerry L. Clayton.

Shop with a Cop 2012
The Shop with a Cop Program involves Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Deputies and other Washtenaw County law enforcement officers, donating their time to take a group of children on a Holiday shopping spree. Children are selected by referrals from our local school districts and school resource officers.

Home Invasion Suspects identified!!
On September 17, 2012 the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 1900 Blk of Chevrolet in the West Willow neighborhood for a home invasion investigation. While the deputy on scene was conducting a neighborhood canvass, the deputy observed a juvenile in the area and determined the individual to have been involved in the home invasion he was currently investigating. Deputies along with the Detective Bureau were able to recover stolen property from 3 separate home invasions that had occurred in the past month from two separate residents in the neighborhood.
Sentencing of Daniel Jackson
Sheriff’s Office May 2012 investigation into school bus sexual assaults that occurred in the West Willow Neighborhood came to a close September 17th, 2012, with the guilty plea and sentencing of Daniel Jackson to nine (9) counts of criminal sexual conduct before the Honorable Melinda Morris in the Washtenaw County Trial Court.

The Tahoe features include wheels that turn, front doors and hood that open, and a light bar (lights inactive), and our new logo.
