The WCSO is asking for your assistance in the location of Leon Freeman. He is wanted in conjunction with a shooting at the Elks Club in Ypsilanti Township during the early morning hours on Saturday Oct. 8, 2011.

During the early morning hours (2:00am) of October 8, 2011, the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of shots fired in the 1400 block of Ecorse Rd. (Elks Club) in Ypsilanti Township. It is unclear at this time what prompted the altercation, but the investigation remains active.

As deputies arrived on scene St. Joseph Hospital reported 3 gun shot victims had arrived in the emergency room. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time, but all are expected to survive. Upon arriving on scene deputies were able to identify and apprehend one of the shooters, but are looking for the publics assistance in locating a second person of interest.

Leon Freeman, 25 years of age is wanted in conjunction with this incident.
