Deputy with neighborhood kidsSheriff Clayton and the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is committed to

building strong communities. Through partnering with our residents to fully understand the issues impacting our neighborhoods, the WCSO is focused on addressing the root causes of community problems.

WHAT: Interrupters are volunteers willing to walk door-to-door handing out information as part of a public education campaign to INTERRUPT the violence in our neighborhoods.

Understanding that crime is not just a law enforcement problem but that it is a community problem we continue our committment to building partnerships with our residents.

Using Neighborhood Watch as a central focus to engage residents our goal is to empower citizens to take an active role in the policing of their communities. By providing leadership, security, and  tools to organize residents the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is building a strong commnity one neighborhood at a time.

  • Army-Navy Wheelchair Basketball Game UM - WCSO participates in an annual Army/Navy Wheelchair Basketball game each year near Veterans Day in November. You can view the video online!
