Sheriff Clayton
The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is composed of over 200 staff, reserves, and volunteers spread over 5 Divisions. With nearly 350,000 residents spread across 25 local muncipalities the WCSO strives to provide quality service to all of Washtenaw County.
Sheriff Jerry L. Clayton was elected in 2008 and is serving his first term as Sheriff. With him he brings a vision for corrections based on Inmate Behavior Management and for police services based on Problem Oriented Policing.
