The Juvenile Court Division is located at 2260 Platt Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The Prosecutor’s Office Juvenile Court Division staffs a First Assistant Prosecuting Attorney supervisor, two full-time Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys (APAs), one full-time Legal Clerk, one part-time Victim Rights Advocate

The Juvenile Court Division plays an important role in holding juveniles accountable for their criminal acts as well as protecting children from abuse and neglect. In handling both deliquency and child protective proceedings, our Office consults with police officers, school officials, court staff, Deparment of Human Services (previously Family Independant Agency), Children's Protective Services workers, foster care workers, other professionals, parents, children, crime victims, and witnesses as necessary, and answers questions from the public, media and other sources as needed. After a review of submitted police reports for legal sufficiency of criminal charges, our Office will prosecute all authorized juvenile delinquency and status offense (runaways and truants) cases.
