Hours and Holidays

Note: These hours of operation and holidays apply to most County departments, however some departments do not follow this schedule.

Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm,
Saturday-Sunday: closed

Holidays The County Offices will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

• Martin Luther King Birthday -– Monday -- January 21, 2008
• President’s Day –- Monday -- February 18, 2008
• Good Friday (12-5pm) –- Friday –- March 21, 2008
• Memorial Day –- Monday -- May 26, 2008
• July 4th –- Friday -- July 4, 2008
• Labor Day –- Monday -- September 1, 2008
• Columbus Day –- Monday -- October 13, 2008
• Veteran’s Day –- Tuesday -- November 11, 2008
• Thanksgiving Day –-Thursday -- November 27, 2008
• Day after Thanksgiving –- Friday -- November 28, 2008
• Christmas Eve (12-5pm) –- Wednesday -- December 24, 2008
• Christmas Day –- Thursday -- December 25, 2008
• New Year’s Eve (12-5pm) -- Wednesday -- December 31, 2008

*The ½ day off before New Year’s Day and Christmas Day applies only when 12/25 and 1/1 normally fall on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Should a holiday fall on Saturday, Friday shall be considered the holiday. Should a holiday fall on Sunday, Monday shall be considered the holiday. Employees will be paid their current rate based on their regular scheduled workdays for holidays.

This schedule does not apply to the Sheriff’s Department which has a different schedule.
