Kickoff Meeting Follow-up
Following the kickoff meeting, the Allen's Creek Advisory Committee compiled the participants' feedback (see links below) and took several steps to move the process forward.
- Developed an email distribution list from the sign-in sheet. If you would like to be added, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
- Postponed the follow-up meeting to April 30. There are a variety of opportunities for upcoming storm water projects, and many attendees at the kickoff meeting expressed an interest in moving quickly. However, many others felt that too much information was presented, and that more background and detail was needed in order to make informed decisions. This information will be developed and presented on April 30. There will also be adequate time set aside for questions and discussion, and procedures in place that will ensure a productive process. In quick succession, meetings to discuss potential projects are scheduled for May 14 and May 30. All meetings will take place at Slauson Middle School from 7-9 P.M.
