It took nearly a week to pump water out of the work area, but following that, the contractor has been working steadily since April 25, and we had a good stretch of dry weather before yesterday. A lot of grading work is being done. Frankly it doesn’t look like much until it is complete and planted.
The intention is to complete the north side where the new ponds will be by the end of the month and get as much planted as possible. If we are successful, Malletts Creek will be rerouted away from the temporary diversion channel and back to the newly constructed pools. As we get closer and things will begin to take shape, I’ll provide a more detailed update. Thanks for you patience. Pray for dry weather.
