Year End Summary and a Look Ahead
Earlier this year the City and the Drain Commissioner’s Office formed the
Allen’s Creek Advisory Committee (AC2) and hired the engineering firm of
Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment (OHM) to look at ways to reduce pollution and
flooding in the basin.

Since our last public forum in early June, we have been pursuing both
small and large-scale projects. In the Allen’s Creekshed, 3 new rain gardens
have been planted and 7 more are being designed for next spring. This

Individual Storm Water Treatment Options
Small scale storm water treatment options were discussed last Wednesday
at Burns Park Elementary School. There were roughly 60 attendees.
Overviews were provided on four topics followed by Q & A, then

Potential Projects - First Look
The most recent meeting consisted of a brief update of the City of
Ann Arbor's Stormwater GIS Project, followed by a conceptual discussion
