SRF Public Hearing

A Public Hearing for the following projects will be held at Bach School (600 W. Jefferson) Thursday, June 11 at 7-8:30PM:

1. Stadium Blvd Reconstruction (Suffolk to Kipke)

2. West Park

3. Vets Park

4. Madison Street reconstruction

5. Miller Ave reconstruction

6. Sylvan St. reconstruction

The draft copy of our project description, also called the State Revolving Fund  Project Plan, is available for your review. Please note that Sylvan Road reconstruction will be added but is not currently included in the document.

The following items will be discussed:

• A description of the water quality problems to be addressed by the project and the principal alternatives that were considered.
• A description of the recommended alternative, including its capital costs and a cost breakdown by project components.
• A discussion of project financing and costs to users, including the proposed method of project financing and estimated monthly debt retirement; the proposed annual, quarterly, or monthly charge to the typical residential customer; and any special fees that will be assessed.
• A description of the anticipated social and environmental impacts associated with the recommended alternative and the measures that will be taken to mitigate adverse impacts.
