April 30 Meeting Info
The second public meeting of the Allen's Creek Stormwater Initiative will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007 at Slauson Middle School from 7-9 PM (Agenda). The meeting will begin with a discussion of what was heard at the previous meeting (Summary), and steps that are being taken to improve this process:
- Improved Communications
- Extended Community Involvement
- Clarification of Roles and Outcomes (What are we doing here?)
Afterwards, Scott Dierks of JF New will give
a presentation titled Allen's Creek Diagnosis and Prescription. The
talk will provide a common understanding of the watershed; address questions
related to modeling, water quality and drainage; introduce some of the
potential solutions and how those solutions can be evaluated.
The remaining 30-45 minutes of the meeting will be dedicated to questions and answers, and a discussion of next steps.
