WHP Member Information
The Washtenaw Health Plan (WHP) provides access to medically
necessary care including primary care, specialty care, hospitalizations,
emergency care and prescription drugs for qualified Washtenaw County
residents who don't have access to health insurance. Every WHP Member
has a Primary Care Provider (PCP) who provides direct care and helps
coordinate any other health services that are needed.
Attention New WHP Members: Make an appointment with
your PCP for a new patient physical as soon as possible.
Here is a list of Primary Care Providers who see WHP Members:
Every member is assigned to either the University of Michigan Hospital
System or the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital System for hospital and/or specialty
care. Check these links for more information about the Washtenaw Health

Members must stay within their assigned hospital system for hospital
and/or specialty care. Check your WHP card or call Member Services
toll free at 1-866-291-8691 if you don't know your hospital system
assignment.
