WHP Plan B
WHP "Plan B" is for Washtenaw County residents who:
- Have a gross household income of up to 200% of the Federal Poverty
Level (according to Michigan Medicaid). (For example, for 2008, gross
household income must not be more than $20,800 per year for individuals;
$28,000 for a family of two; $35,200 for a family of three.) Click here to see

- Do not have any private comprehensive heath insurance.
- Do not have access to affordable health insurance.
- Do not qualify for the Adult Benefit Waiver (ABW;
WHP Plan A), Medicaid,
MIChild,
Medicare, or any other health
coverage program, except for Emergency Only Medicaid and Medicaid Spend
Down.
To apply for Plan B you must call 734-544-3030 for an
appointment or visit us at 555 Towner Avenue, Ypsilanti during our walk in
hours. Walk-in hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30a.m. -
11:30a.m. Please see information below to see what you need to
bring to your appointment.
What you need to apply for Plan B:
- Proof of Income
- Proof of Residency
- Information about liquid assets over $5,000 (not including car and/or
home)
