Regular check-ups can prevent many illnesses and catch other medical problems before they become dangerous.  But quality health care is expensive. Fortunately, there are many low cost, and some no cost, health care options in Washtenaw County.

Health Clinics

Dental Clinics

Dental schools can be a good source of quality, reduced-cost dental treatment. Most teaching facilities have clinics that allow dental students to gain experience treating patients while providing care at a reduced cost.

  • The Washtenaw County Dental Clinic is now open. The clinic serves adults and children who are uninsured and low income, or who are enrolled in Medicaid, MIChild or Healthy Kids. New patients may call 877-313-6232 to register.
  • University of Michigan School of Dentistry
    Patient care is provided by a dental student under the close supervision of faculty members who are also experienced dentists. The Pediatric Dentistry Clinic treats children less than 14 years of age. Please call 734-764-1523 to make an appointment for an initial examination.
