Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) provides services for children with special health conditions. Services for families who have children with chronic illnesses or disabilities include:
To be eligible for services, you must have a qualifying medical condition and be under 21 (exceptions made for cystic fibrosis or blood clotting disorders). Financial participation may be required. Children with Special Needs Fund Individuals that qualify for Children's Special Health Care Services are eligible to access this fund, which is administered by the Department of Community Health. The intent of this fund is to help provide unique services for children with special needs that cannot be provided by other funds.
