The Title XV/Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program
The Title XV/Breast and Cervical
Cancer Control Program is a federally funded program that provides free
breast and cervical cancer screening to women in Washtenaw and Livingston
Counties who are between the ages of 40 and 64 and who meet financial and
insurance criteria.
The services include
- Clinical Breast Exam
- Mammogram
- Pelvic Exam
- Pap Test
- Additional tests and/or referrals to specialists, if needed
Where are the Services Provided?
Screening Services are being provided by
- Physicians and nurse practitioners through the University
of Michigan Health System and the St. Joseph Mercy Health System
Mammogram services are provided by
- McAuley Breast Care
- U of M Radiology and
Screening sites are located throughout Washtenaw and Livingston Counties
Who is Eligible?
To be eligible for the Title XV/BCCCP program, you must be
- A woman between the ages of 40 and 64
- A resident of Washtenaw or Livingston County
- Have no insurance or limited insurance
- Meet federal income requirements
- No proof of income is required
How to Enroll
To enroll in the program or to receive additional information
- Please call the ACCESS line at (734) 481-2502 or 1-800-440-7548
- When calling to enroll, a telephone screening interview will be conducted in order to determine eligibility for the program
You will then be given the number to a screening site
where you can make an appointment. The clinic will ask additional questions
to complete the enrollment process.
