Save these Dates for Upcoming CHC Meetings!

September 11th:

  • Join us for Mind Matters”, a report on mental health trends and issues facing our county and what we can do to address them.
  • Learn about the successful PIER model and the four-year grant project from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation awarded to the Washtenaw Community Health Organization and the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry. Efforts include launching a community-wide research initiative aimed at identifying young people who show early signs of psychosis and preventing the onset of serious mental illness.
  • Get your voice heard! Everyone present will have a chance to vote on which “focus areas” HIP will emphasize as we work together to achieve the county-wide 2020 HIP Objectives.

November 13th:

  • Learn about county-wide substance abuse trends and issues including more about the current initiatives occurring locally, best-practices, and new frameworks for addressing this critical health issue.

Both CHC meetings will be held at the Library Learning and Resource Center on 4135 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, 48107, from 12:00-1:30 pm. Coffee and tea are available. Hope to see you there!
