Michelle (Rose) Armstrong, MA, LLP Cell: 734-368-1114 michellerosearmstrong@gmail.com/p> Michelle is an ASIST Master Trainer and a safeTALK trainer. Michelle is formally trained as a psychologist and has a long history of training and supporting the mental health of community members and emergency responders locally, regionally and nationally. Retired from the Washtenaw County Public Health Department as a Community Mental Health Specialist with Prevention & Community Response Services, Michelle continues to provide training and consulting services related to, suicide prevention, Critical Incident Stress Management , mental health education, and disaster response planning/training. Currently, she is the suicide prevention coordinator for Washtenaw Alive, the Garrett Lee Smith Youth Suicide Prevention Grant and is a member of both the Washtenaw CISM Team and the Traumatic events Response Network (TERN )Team. In 2011 she received the distinctive “Responder of the Year” award from the Michigan Crisis Response Association. |

Anne Kramer, LMSW 734.604.7878 Anne is ian ASIST Master Trainer and a safeTALK trainer and can train individuals to become safeTALK trainers. Anne Kramer, LMSW is a Research Associate at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry. She has experience in implementing protocol-based research interventions involving adolescents and young adults at risk for suicidal behavior and suicide. Presently, Anne is the Program Manager for the UM Child Collaborative Consultation Program an integrated care program with primary care physicians treating the mental health needs of children and adolescents with minimal access to specialized care in the state of Michigan. Anne is also the Project Coordinator and Intervention Specialist for the NIMH-funded study, College Students with Elevated Suicide Risk: Enhancing Treatment Linkage. Anne has considerable expertise in the development and oversight of behavioral health services for youth and families with a particular focus on community and school based programs. Anne provides education and training on mental health and suicide to mental health professionals, teachers, parents and other community groups as well as graduate and undergraduate students. She is certified as an instructor of the competency-based curriculum for mental health professionals: Assessment and Management of Suicide Risk for Mental Health Professionals (ASMR) and the suicide alertness training for trainers (safeTALK). Dawn King 734.395-9216 Dawn has 24 years of experience in law enforcement. Officer King sought advanced mental health training which she employs daily in a law enforcement capacity. Having empathy and understanding of psychiatric issues allows officers to intervene and obtain assistance for those in need of care. Educating the public about mental health issues is a priority so we may assist those in need of supportive or professional psychiatric intervention. People of all ages can be affected by depression or other illnesses so suicide awareness training is a benefit to all |

Hollie Kolcz, MA Phone: 734-428-8274 ext 1106 Hollie is a safeTALK trainer. Hollie has worked with high school students for the past 10 years. She received her BA in special education (emotional impairment) from Eastern Michigan University and a Masters in Teaching from Marygrove College. In addition, she has a Masters in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. She is currently working at Machester High School as a Guidance Counselor |
