Youth Photovoice is an innovative program used internationally to empower youth and foster dialogue and awareness. Learn about what the Dexter and Pinckney Coalitions did from the following:
Dexter
On December 4, 2008 the Dexter Coalition to Reduce Underage Drinking showcased youth photos on underage drinking at the Exposed: A closer look at underage drinking Exhibit. Twenty-five photos were featured and 5 Dexter High School students led small group discussions with community members.
Pinckney
On January 27, 2009 the Pinckney Coalition to Reduce Underage Drinking showcased youth photos on underage drinking at the Exposed: A closer look at underage drinking Exhibit. Twenty-thee photos were featured and Pinckney High School students participated in small group discussions with community members.
