Community Health Committee

The Community Health Committee (CHC) is HIP's coalition and has included over 200 participants from  diverse organizations including health systems, government, schools, community-based organizations, business, neighborhood and faith-based groups, and individual citizens. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings where we share progress on HIP objectives, identify opportunities for collaboration, and learn about best practices occurring in the realm of community health improvement . Approximately 30-60 members attend each coalition meeting.

Location: Meetings will be held at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System's Ellen Thompson Womens Health Center on the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Campus. The addres is 5320 Elliot Drive, Ypsilanti, MI 48197.

  • Lunch is provided to those who RSVP. Coffee, tea, and water are available.

  • Upon entering the Women's Health Center, take the elevator up to the 2nd floor, turn left and follow signs to the meeting room.

Implementation Team

The Implementation Team is responsible for quality assurance, monitoring health outcomes, interpreting data and information dissemination regarding HIP objectives.

Coordinating Committee

Coordinating Committee is responsible for tracking progress of HIP objectives, setting agenda for the CHC meetings and activities, and assuring that the Implementation Team workplan serves larger HIP/CHC goals.
