Emergency Information Email Group
The Public Health Emergency Information Email Group helps us provide official information or instructions to the entire community quickly and appropriately. We rely on key individuals, organizations and leaders to help us share critical information with their employees, clients, residents and members - in the language or manner that best suits their particular community.
Public Health will also provide information directly to the local media, the 211 system referral system and our area first responders and health care partners.
Who Joins the Emergency Information Email Group?
Anyone is welcome to join. Send an email to Susan Cerniglia to subscribe. Please include your organizational affiliation, if any.
A primary goal is to reach those community members that may not receive information through traditional means or that may require additional assistance to act on emergency instructions. In a real emergency, Washtenaw County Public Health will rely on you to share critical health information or official emergency instructions.
Your partnership is important to us because community members trust information that comes to them from the people, leaders and organizations they know. Thank you for your interest in keeping our community safe and healthy!
The Public Health Emergency Information Email Group is for emergency purposes. Your email address will not be shared. The email group may be tested two to four times per year. Test messages may include emergency preparedness information or announcements.
