Medical Director

Alice Penrose is the medical director of the Washtenaw County Public Health Department. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1982.  She is boarded in both internal medicine and preventive medicine, and has an MPH in epidemiology from the University of Michigan.  She works closely with the communicable disease department, and oversees the adult health clinic, as well as acting in an advisory capacity to the department at large.
