Wind Test Update 11-20-07

Now that the contract with North Coast is signed, the County has been working with local governments to secure the proper permits to erect the met tower. Since commercial wind turbines are a new to most local jurisdictions, they are often unsure how to permit and regulate them. So, while the local units we are working with are supportive, they have been very deliberate with their process. This has pushed our timeline back a little bit. At this point, we will not be able to get the tower up in November, as once hoped. Most likely we will be able to erect it and get started with the testing in January or February.
