Program Plan of Action:
Energy audits will be conducted on buildings
that represent commercial, non-profit, municipal, and lower-income
multi-family properties. These audits will identify key opportunities for
energy efficiency achievement in two main areas:
-
Technical: Includes assessment of current lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning) systems and building envelope.
-
Behavioral: Includes education on best practices and low to no-cost methods of reducing energy usage.
Owners/operators of the facilities will receive a report describing all opportunities or improvements and estimated payback periods for each procedure. To learn about how you can receive an audit from Rebuild Washtenaw County please contact Rebuild Washtenaw Coordinator.

Should you decide to pursue implementation of the suggested
