Solid Waste Services

• Residents are responsible for securing their own waste hauler. Some options include:
• Great Lakes Waste Services: 800-589-9139
• Monroe's Rubbish Removal: 810-231-1055

• County-sponsored clean-up days to be announced. Check online for more information on the spring and fall clean-up days happening nearest you

Recycling Services

• Due to budget cuts, monthly recycling services are no longer available in York Township.
• Check with your waste hauler to see if they provide curbside recycling.
• Residents are also encouraged to use the Washtenaw County Regional Drop-off Station, located on 2950 East Ellsworth Road in Ann Arbor, 734-971-7400. Recycling is free to all County residents.

Yard Waste

• There is no yard waste collection service in York Township.
• If you plan to have an open fire, please call either the Saline Fire Department at 734-429-7911 or the Milan Fire Department at 734-439-2843 to obtain a permit.
