Rebuild Washtenaw is the first Michigan subsidiary of the Rebuild America Program. Rebuild Washtenaw supports local action plans to reduce energy costs for businesses and community organizations; and to reinvest in communities by improving buildings and stimulating the local economy. 

Department of Energy program gives step by step information about implementing new energy technologies in your building. Provides specific information for building types from schools to multifamily housing. Also provides in-depth look at success stories.

Awards program for commercial and residential energy conservation efforts. Provides performance ratings and information on proven energy management strategies.

Non-profit environmental education and information organization. Site has an energy link with general information about energy conservation concepts like heating and cooling, landscaping, and insulation.

Provides loans of up to $100,000 at an interest rate of 5% or less to businesses with fewer than 100 employees. Loans must be used to implement projects that reduce waste or improve energy conservation. This program helps small businesses get loans to retrofit for energy upgrades.
