Solid Waste Services

• Residents are responsible for securing their own waste hauler. Some options include:

• County-sponsored clean-up days to be announced. Check online for more information on the spring and fall clean-up days happening nearest you.

Recycling Services

• Drop-off location: GE Wacker, M-52 & Pleasant Lake
• Hours: 24 hours

• Acceptable Materials
• Paper: newspaper, cardboard, magazines, office paper, phone books, boxboard
• Metals: aluminum and tin
• Plastic: #1 PET plastic and #2 HDPE plastic, bottles only. Discard caps before recycling. No #1 or #2 tubs or plastic with #3-7.
• Other: Glass, household batteries
• Residents are also encouraged to check with their waste hauler to see if they provide curbside recycling services.

Yard Waste

• There is no yard waste collection service in Sharon Township.
• If you plan to have an open fire, please call the local fire authority to obtain a permit.
