Residents are responsible for securing their own waste hauler. Some options include:

County-sponsored clean-up days to be announced. Check online for more information on the spring and fall clean-up days happening nearest you.

Paper: newspaper, cardboard, magazines, office paper, phone books, boxboard
Metals: aluminum and tin
Plastic: #1 PET plastic and #2 HDPE plastic, bottles only. Discard caps before recycling. No #1 or #2 tubs or plastic with #3-7.
Other: Glass, household batteries

Residents are also encouraged to check with their waste hauler to see if they provide curbside recycling services.

There is no yard waste collection service in Sharon Township.
If you plan to have an open fire, please call the local fire authority to obtain a permit.
