Solid Waste Services

• Residents are responsible for securing their own waste hauler. Some options include:
• Monroe's Rubbish Removal: 810-231-1055 
• Great Lake's Waste Services: 800-589-9139
• Waste Management: 800-796-9696
• Clean-up Days: Two per year (1 spring and 1 fall). Please call 994-0098 or check online for exact dates, locations, and acceptable items.

Recycling Services

• Drop-off location: Township Hall, 5731 Braun Road
• When: 3rd Saturday of every month, 8am-Noon
• Acceptable materials
• Paper: Newspaper, cardboard, magazines, office paper, phone books, boxboard
• Metals: Aluminum and tin cans
• Plastic: #1 PET plastic, #2 HDPE plastic, bottles only. Discard caps before recycling. No #1 or #2 tubs or plastic with #3-7.

Yard Waste

• There is no yard waste collection service in Saline Township 
• If you plan to have an open fire, call the Saline Area Fire Department at 734-429-7911 to obtain a permit.
